McCullough vs Larios 2 ???

On both ITV and BBC teletext that it is a possibility.

COME ON.

I think Wayne can do it this time, Whilst the right man MIGHT have got the decision (very, very close) - the scoring has been widely criticised and I think under these circumstances close rounds might go to Wayne in a rematch (ala Holyfield vs Lewis 2).

Perhaps Larios took Wayne a bit lightly, but a guy of his frame to make weight shows a good preperation. I don't know if he can fight alot better, I think Wayne can up it a little and sneak it.

It might be interesting to see the WBC rankings, with this honourable defeat Wayne might actually rise in the rankings - so if the Guzman vs Larios fight does take place and Larios vacates - then Wayne might be in a good position for a shot at a vacant title.

I would also like to look at these other champions (WBA / IBF). As I said on another thread I always assumed the Larios and Guzman are the best in the devision and I initially wanted Wayne to look at these two. However, I have since heard that these two are very good champions and stylewise are wrong for Wayne - I would like to view them myself though.

Bullshit. He can't have a McCullough rematch. It would be obvious as hell he's running from Guzman. Guzman really is going to lay a beating on him. He's better in every way.

Saw on Boxingtalk its not on for the Barrera undercard. As was suspected. It will probably never happen.

I would say it is definately in jeopardy for a number of reasons

1) Surely Guzman has manadatory obligations.

2) Can Guzman make the weight

3) Larios will probably need a rest following that gruelling contest.

1) Its the WBO, he can do whatever the fornicate he wants. For a fee.

2) He's been in training for a while and says he can definately make weight. He was only training a couple of weeks for the Joe Morales fight.

3) Agreed. But damnit, I can't wait, im sick of delays in this extremely talented and extremely exciting fighters career. This guy can compete with ANYONE and he's being wasted.
