I think its the weekend before the Lions leave so expect to see alot of the retired world cup stars and some other faces involved.

It's certainly made things interesting. I'm sure that Ireland will find a way to choke, and I'm holding off on any predictions of a Welsh revival for the time being. I'd like to see Italy win at least one match, and I think they will. Whilst they lost, they were the team that probably impressed me the most.

A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales beating England at rugby, the Daily Mirror has reported.

Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday's match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, "If Wales win I'll cut my balls off", the paper said on Tuesday.

Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.

But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 metres back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

yeah funny call to drop him in against the fomr centre in world rugby then drop him.

Strange, good to see ellis in though and barkley (whom i think is a better all round fly half than hodgeson in) also the big guns arte bakc in the back row with corry moody back and worsely in his best postiion of blind side.

Im happier with that team, the french has still selected a strange side, more or less the same as v italy, i think their back pline looks stilited with no michelak and that big usless twat of an outside scentre playing.

Betson recalled but will probably be banned this arvo at his ERC meeting for a trip that broke abbots leg.

Speaking of Irish centres, why isn't Henderson in the sqaud - he was a quality player and has been doing the buisness from what I have seen of him this season.

Even if O'Driscoll and Darcy were out, Mags and Henderson would be no mugs to replace them.

its an embaraasment of riches, especially when you look at englands problems in the centre.

England have hit rock bottom and badly miss Wilkinson more than anyone else. Just one of those penalties/drop goals going through the posts in each game would have made all the difference!

Hopefully the Irish can get that first GS for 60 odd years, as long as we can keep the players fit. Can't wait for the Dublin games vs England & France.

England were terrible in the second half. Really dont think Andy Robinson is the man for the job they've been shocking under him.

Quite pleased Wales have done the business so far although its not doing much for the old liver. This is the best welsh side in 10 years.

id rather see barkley at fly half hodgesonj just doesnt make the grade for my money.
i think its a bit unfair to write robinson off this early, he hasnt had the players together for very long and at the end of the day if we lose this season i dont mind as long as we get a settled side and start getting some form towards the end of this year building towards the 2007 world cup.

failing that ship in the whole of leeds rhinos league side

well played ireland and wales tho, great try by the welsh, one of the best for a while.

they ar eplaying well but feel they may come unstuck vs france away.
think the irish hav e the best chance with france and england at home.

I backed Ireland at 8/1 to win Grand slam and 3/1 to win it outright. COME ON IRELAND!!! If BOD and D'Arcy play the next 3 games it's in the bag.
