http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/party- ... -v-kessler
Front row ringside tickets have now sold out

Update 9/4.
The pre/post event party passes on sale see details here
http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/party- ... -v-kessler
Carl has said that he will be attending the post fight party barring any injuries

Here's the updated itinerary now that everything is officially confirmed and i have received the seating plan.

It's a tricky one especially if you can't fly from London but i'd suggest getting down to Stansted for Thursday evening and taking a room for the night (i can book this for you if required) to make sure you can attend the weigh-in and avoid too much travel hassle.

Friday, 23rd April
Ryanair airline flight from Stansted to Billund departs 0755, arrives 1025
Transfer from airport to Herning

2 nights accommodation at 3* Scandic Herning Hotel (twin room)

Saturday, 24th April
£120 centre front tiered ticket for Froch v Kessler

Sunday, 25th April
Transfer from hotel to airport
Ryanair airline flight from Billund to Stansted, departs 2200, arrives 2230

The price starts at £380pp excluding flights which can be booked directly or i can do it for you. They currently cost about £100 return.

Ticket only can be purchased here - http://queensburytravel.com/FrochKessle ... Order.aspx

Accommodation/airport transfers can be added. Pre/post event party is also being organised, details to follow.

Ticket downgrade/upgrade for difference between £120 & the amounts on the seating plan below.

£245 tickets now £175

ALRIGHT JOHN

ARE YOU DOING TICKETS ONLY FOR THIS EVENT?

AS WE CAN FLY FROM EDINBURGH TO BILLUND WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY A BIT HANDIER THAN GOING FROM GLASGOW TO LONDON ONLY TO COME BACK UP AGAIN.

APOLOGIES IF YOU HAVE ALREADY EMAILED ME THE DETAILS, I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLIDAY.

Hi Rab, ticket only will be available soon.
You might want to consider ticket & hotel. I've had people asking me about campsites so maybe all of the hotel rooms are gone now.
Either that or they were just cheapskates... There is an ice hockey championship in Herning on the same day so if any rooms are left they won't be cheap.

Heard that the cheapest tickets for the fight are £70. Any truth in that?

BS.com are reporting that theFroch-Kessler fight may be moved to April 24th, click this link for more details:

http://www.BS.com/?m=show&id=25283

If this turns out to be true there's going to be a lot of very unhappy Froch fans, and rightly so. Many have already booked and paid for flights and hotels, time of work etc, for the weekend of April 17th.

The way this is being handled by the parties involved is becoming a bit of a joke.

could this be a deliberate ploy from kessler or his team , they know froch has big support and maybe they want to ensure he doesnt have more support than the home man , but then again that would effectively be turning money away from the fans . :-?

Kessler is a lot bigger name in Denmark than Froch is over here.

I think quite a few of us will be stuck over there the week before.

Froch’s promoter Mick Hennessy revealed, “We’ve confirmed a date of April 17th for the Kessler fight. It will take place in Denmark and will be on at around 10pm in the evening U.K. time which is great news for British fight fans. It’s going to be an absolutely massive event and it should attract a huge audience.”

Announcement in December - Cheers Mick, nice to see you look after us fans eh!!!!
You can accept a boxer getting injured but this takes the p1ss.

Guess they changed the date because of the Bute and Pavlik card on HBO. fornicating stinks though, I had several fights cancel on me last year and it was an absolute pain in the arse

HBO will probably be showing Arreola v Adamek on the 24th so i can't see why the date clash with another Super Middle fight is any worse. On the positive side i hope to be getting ticket prices on Monday.

Frochs keenest fans are gonna be there the weekend before now - guess money talks and hennessy doesn't have the b0ll0cks to stick up for his paying fans. Not another penny from me.

I know directly and indirectly, about 100 or so people now canning the trip. They are utterly pissed off with it all. After getting their heads round Herning, to then put the fight back a week has made them lose their minds.

A handful are just gonna go on the 17th for a trip regardless, but most are just binning them.

A lot of them have Virgin, so cant even watch it on tv. Notts has loads of people on cable, as the NTL headquarters (now virgin) is based in nottingham.

Froch even worked for them while as an amateur.

Froch must have the worst promotional team around. They cannot sort anything. Froch is the champion for christ sakes, yet they cannot secure TV deals or an accessible fight venue for this one.

I have already booked my flights, so that money is down the shitehouse.

Gutted. It means two trips to Denmark in a week now.

Are these areas the away allocated areas? No side view seats allocated to Brits?
