Re: Hatton Boxing TV PAY PER VIEW!
For £2.99, I think it's great value.
Even if it isn't a perfect stream, no big issue- just the price of a pint.
That said, I doubt they will show all 12 fights.
Even if they did, who would really watch all 12? Even at live events only a few people watch the whole card- how fewer will sit in front of a stream for them all?
Still, good stuff- something to watch on a Sunday, for sure.

Hatton should charge us £2.99 for his next fight on SKY PPV.
Good move from Hatton - how long before Hatton TV shows Hatton PPV instead of SKY?
More pie and beer money!

2.99 is a good price for 12 fights.
Re: Hatton Boxing TV PAY PER VIEW!
This has been on the cards for a while, RH has built up a following of members to his site and they have watched many bills for free. Now he has put a very small fee on a stream, good luck to him I say. Imagine how many family members of fighters who do not go to the show will pay this very small ammount to watch their relative fight.
Well done Hatton

Just to confirm all 12 fights will be shown.

Good stuff!
Even if I don't watch them all, I can still dip in and out - hopefully this idea will take off. It would be nice to see full undercards televsied (or interneted, whatever the word is)
That said, they would need to be worth watching, of course.

£2.99 for a small hall show is good value.

Good on him, definitely the way forward.
Re: Hatton Boxing TV PAY PER VIEW!
I'd pay £7/£8 quid if this was available on TV.... Primetime or anything.
Hope it does well though. But internet boxing isn't for me.

It's a shame they can't put the undercard of the sky sports Bills on this cos I'm sick of missing some of the undercard fight an the hattons seem to be putting some cracking undercard fight on !!

With time, I reckon it will become "the norm."stujones wrote: But internet boxing isn't for me.
that said, that will be years- internet reliablity is still an issue at the moment.
I mean, streams are generally good, but far from perfect- and small screen at the moment.
Full screen TV quality stream broadband that is 99.9% reliable - 5 years time.

A friend of mine has the beta version of the software that the BBC iplayer uses. Not sure if any of you have seen the iplayer in action, but it's mint and the new version is even crisper and faster.whicker wrote:With time, I reckon it will become "the norm."stujones wrote: But internet boxing isn't for me.

I can stream anyones fights using this platform if they want to PM me i can go through the details. It's light years ahead of flash media encoder.
check the quality..

However, isn't the BBC i player a little different, in that it doesn't show LIVE stuff?
IE, it's playing a pre-recorded programme, which allows it to load ahead of itself , and therefore any slowdowns are not an issue (just like You Tube.)
The issue with Live broadcasts seems to be that if the internet or the player or the technology fails, then there isn't anything that can be done.
Re: Hatton Boxing TV PAY PER VIEW!
good price and a decent bill but what i'm thinking is there may be some other sports on the same time and i dont think i will watch it.
but well done them and maybe whe there arent any FFN's on they can do something similar or maybe on a Thursday or something, this taking that it's succesful enough.

I think its a great little idea myself, and its good news for all the lads round this way (Wolverhampton) who will be on the bill and good for 1st team promotions. I'm gonna be at the show but I was just wandering if there was anyone out there who would be able to put this onto a dvd for me? I'd gladly pay like.
