So who has actually booked with Setanta?

Post by Kilburn »

Just wondered how many here have actually gone for the PPV. I haven't because I'm away this weekend, but could do with someone texting me when the main event is about to start so that I can flick the radio on.

Boxing is not something I'll stop up all night for. I'm therefore watching the highlights on the BBC. If it's a decent fight, I may buy it on a compilation at some stage.

Im booking it for sure. I don't mind decent PPV Cards in the early hours, I'd rather be able to have the chance to pay for it and watch it live.

I do enjoy the all night events. Also it keeps me in and I spend less money getting a PPV card in, as Id end up going out instead and I'd spend more money :TU:

Looking forward to Taylors fight as well, its a shame that Witter and Froch etc are not being broadcast. Good to see more British names going State Side.

I thought the Witter fight was live, hence the eary start time (1am)

The HBO show doesnt start until 2.45. 1 hr 45 mins is a long time, anyone else thinking we may get another undercard fight too? Hoping so...
Witter fight is on just got this form sentanta website:

*EXTRA LIVE & EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL

UK fight fans will now not miss a minute of JUNIOR WITTER V LOVEMORE, live & exclusive, in full, from 01.00 GMT on Saturday night before HBO's main event broadcast at 2.00AM GMT.

"The live broadcast will go out on Setanta PPV1, SKY Channel 435, from around midnight. Precise timings are to be confirmed shortly. Repeat broadcasts will be offered the following day at 8am and 4pm."
I wonder if the repeats will feature the undercard or just the main event?

Not as yet, but will be. I actually hope this is how Sentanta treat all their boxing, I would rather pay £10 per show, then a monthly subcription and there only being one boxing event every blue moon.

So I would have ordered regardless of the Witter fight.
