Anyone remember the surname of a South African middleweight (or thereabouts) who trained under Brendon Smith and was based in Miami, Gold Coast, 1997? His first name was Justice and I can't find him on boxrec.
I've narrowed it down to possibly this fellow: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer
'98 was when the Justice I knew returned to South Africa and he was Zulu, so boxing out of KwaZulu-Natal province makes sense. He had a few fights in Australia in 1997 under Smith, maybe those bouts slipped under the radar and weren't recorded.

Brendan brought November Nshingila out here. Not sure of any others although he may have.

Yea, November Ntshingila was there too (as were Jamie Myer and Gavin Topp at the time).
Both November and Justice returned to S. Africa in 1997 after suffering losses (November was having recurring problems with a dislocating shoulder).

Thankyou Fox, you are a legend. I had no idea he also used Justin as his Christian name.
How do you know Justice?

Always knew him as Justice as well. I'm from Warwick so not too far from Brendons camp.

Ganiza had a horror run towards the end of his career, being KOed in four of his last five fights.
Winning 6 of his first 9 fights, he finished up with a 7-11-1 record, being KOed seven times.

Yeah, I must say I was surprised and disappointed know that I see that he turned into a bit of a journeyman. I new him during the time of his two KO victories and loss to Dindo Canoy, the latter an experienced and dangerous journeyman. I expected that he would do pretty well. This sport is very tough.
I had the pleasure of training and sparring with Justice and the rest of Brendon's team in the early parts of '97 in Miami. Justice had a killer left body rip, and would follow with a left hook upstairs.![[icon_knockout.gif] :KO:](./images/smilies/icon_knockout.gif)
