As you say he's had no chance to build momentum. I love Fagan though, he's very tough and all action but he's 36 - I think he could be on the wane. Then again, he was a late starter.
Where can you get odds on Murray to win on points?

I like this Murray - first time I have ever seen him and this is a damn good fight - I am suprised the Chinese authorities haven't blocked the screening but still - it is 6.02 am and happy Chinese new year to you all! :TU:

Coveney stopped in the 7th - I think - Pajo with a straight right down the middle which landed on the chin.

Coveney genuinely upset - looked like he was in tear actually

Barrett down HEAVILY in the second and Kenna chasing him round the ring for the stopage - how he survivied I dont know.

Connie came back out in the third and showed a fair bit of boxing and took that.

Connie jabbed his way through the rest of the fight to take the decision and the title - he now fights Rogan.

Rogie has had his operation and is now coming back to full fitness and would damage either of them.

Murray looked impressive against an always game Fagan, good to see the Cavan man has shaken off all that injury rust. I sort of agreed with the stoppage, Oisin was getting hit alot and his face was proof of that although if it was down to him he would carry on with two swollen over eyes.

Pajo looked poor to say the least and got out of jail really, he nor his corner seemed to have no ideas on how to get at Coveney who put up a good fight and was probably even on the scorecards before the KO. Would worry about Pajo against better opposition unless he ups his game.

The NO.1 Challenger for the Irish Heavyweight Title Martin Rogan is going to murder Barrett inside 5.

My cousin who was at the Stadium told me Fitzy-Healy was really close and the scorecard didn't reflect the fight. He was telling me an irate Healy was eyeball to eyeball with Vann at the end and Micky was just looking up at him and smiling  Plenty talk of a rematch around the Stadium appartently.

Well lads what was the verdict here? Murray totally outclassed Fagan, think he's ready for bigger and better things.
John Murray has first shot at the dodgy-looking Mezaache though doesn't he?
Pat Hyland was terrible too.

Jim Rock said also that Ciaran Healy was sitting having a few pints on Wednesday night when he got the phone call to box Saturday after Murtagh pulled out. Fair play to him, could have got a draw in my opinion.
