Carl Froch Result ??
Anyone know how Froch got on?
Froch denied by late cancellation
Froch had been looking to extend his winning run to 15 fights
Carl Froch's US debut was cancelled at the last minute after his American opponent Christian Cruz weighed in more than a stone overweight.
Unbeaten Nottingham super middleweight Froch had been due to appear in a high-profile undercard slot on Bernard Hopkins' world middleweight title bill.
All parties had agreed on Friday that the contest could be fought above the 12-stone super middleweight limit.
But the weight difference was deemed too great for the fight to go ahead.
That is a great shame

I noticed that too. Right on the bottom of every article about Witter's deal. I'm not the bloke's biggest fan, but if Witter is going to be fighting in the US from now on, then this could be a great opportunity for Froch to get some major exposure. Not only that but "Golden Boy" are already looking like a decent outfit with regards to getting their fighters meaningful contests. Could be a very good move for the man.stujones wrote:He'll be getting another fight in America in no time, sounds like he's inked a deal with GBP aswell.
