What the fornicate happened to Setanta.

Post by jamesmcdonnell »

Coverage starts in round bloody 4, what the fornicate is that all about. Then after the Witter bout cuts to everyone leaving their seats, no voiceover, then a black screen followed by 15 minutes of nothing.

Glad they showed it, but their production values suck.

I agree. Missed half of the fight and then after the fight was left not knowing what the fornicate was happening. It was the work of amateurs.

The coverage started about 1.38 into the first round as there was 1.22 on the clock.

Setanta just cut to it at about 12.47 am.

I guess round 4 started at about 1am which might be what you are referring to JM?

Setana sucks!.
Watched it at friends and it made Bravo's recent coverage seem proffessional by comparison.

That WASN'T Setanta's fault, the Americans would have seen that.

Setanda sports was poor. They showed the witter fight then later on threw it on again from round 10! We had to stare at a ring with no one in it for ages with tv delays etc. Lucky my mate had Channel U with all the dirty music videos!

Did they even show froch?

Froch didn't fight as his opponent came in 1 stone over weight.

It wasn't Sentata's fault entirely, the only thing they f'd up on was not showing the opening minute or so of the Witter fight. If my understanding was correct the Witter fight was exclusive to UK viewers - it WASN'T shown in America. The American programme didn't start untill 2:00 our time so they couldn't show anything but a blank screen.

What the stuff from 2-4:45 was the feed from America, it wasn't exactly the same commentary as the US but it was like the overseas version. They showed the same fights, so the repeat of Witter vs N'dou from round 10 was Shown in the states.

I was looking forward to Froch fighting! Damn. Suppose we will get to see him on some other US shows now with the deal between Hennessey and Goldenboy

I had work to do last night, so booked to watch the action this afternoon (4pm). I deliberately avoided the result - but come 4.00pm, no sign of the fights. Couldn't even get channel 435.
I phone Sky and mentioned to an operator I'd booked the boxing. Before I could finish, the operator is apologising and offering me a refund!
Sounds like a bad night.
