Iron Rhino wouldn't be a happy lil' fella

Post by AntonS »

Hoppa withdrew out of Townsville show to fight Cameron in Melbourne in March.
He then withdrew out of that & was replaced by Kirby.
Hoppa now wants back in, which is OK by team Cameron, but promoters Amatruda & Michael aren't sure which way to swing.

Fearing he may pull out again, I'd tell Hoppa to get stuffed.

What do youse think?

Hoppa will generate more publicity, look at how much news space he has already recieved, and is potentionally an easier opponent. Kirby won't sell paper's and is going to make it a rough and tumble affair.

If I'm Cameron or the promoters I take Hoppa.

Reading NZ press clippings, I can understand why he wants back in....or at least claim he does.

Cameron would be mad not to re-accept Hoppa as opposition.

The slow moving Hoppa, with his prodigious chin and lack of stamina in absorbing punishment is just made for an easy night for Cameron, whereas the Rhino would have been a much tougher opposition, unless the shellacking that Soloman gave the Rhino has not worn off.

It could be on the moon and Hoppa would sell more seats than Kirby

Principles have to come into somewhere. Rhino stepped up for the promoter after Hoppa backed out. To turn around on Rhino now is bad form. Promoters are gonna need guys like Rhino in the future to step up to tough opponents on short notice. Hoppa, on the other hand, is on his way to being a spent force.

Yes tell Hoppa to focus on his hot dog stand business plan. He's no good after a hiding he receives from Cameron. Furthermore it's best these circus scenario's are avoided.

Tell Hoppa to get F'd he cant pick in choose when he wants in and out! Your either IN or your OUT!! Kirby has stepped up good on him, give him the opportunity it'll be a better fight, Cameron will still thrash him but he'll come and fight!!!

Hoppa needs to be showen boxing has been around a LONG time before he came abotu and is going to carry on a LONG time after hes vanished!! We dont NEED him like he may think!

actually u r wrong he can pick and choose, as he just did.

kirby should rightfully be pissed though, but money talks.

this is how boxing has operated long before hoppa came along and will continue to.

just look at meehan. the guy has been shafted every way possible for 3 years straight. and he was mandatory for a world title. he's still waiting.

if hoppa enters the ring fit then he should put up a good fight against anyone of camerons calibre. doubt he'd win but he has a better chance of beating cameron than kirby does. the thing is though u know kirby will be fit every time and may prove harder to put on his ass. so really it is no better than hoppa because kirby will cop a beating no matter what but hoppa could get and early ko win.

Hoppa could put up a good fight and maybe get a KO win? really..... if Cameron turns up drunk or with both his arms missing..... probably. Hoppa is a mug and he'll get found out...yet again. How many times must he get a hiding before Australia (and NZ) open their eyes and realize he's no boxer. Should really be focusing on his hot dog business.

Its not like Cameron is a world beater, yes he should beat Hoppa and Kirby, but each time he has stepped up he has been whooped. Lets not make out he is better than he is, he is not some indestructable force that is ripping through everyone.

Four weeks to the fight and TBA is still in the red corner. They had better sort it out soon.

I wouldn't say he has been "whooped" each time he stepped up. He got Koed by Tua, so that's only 1 whooping and it was at the hands of a very heavy hitting heavyweight.
