Have to agree here. Think it was the 8th where Daws threw a few shots during the last minute and literally hit nothing at all, didnt land a single shot and they were still prattling on about the good work he was doing "pushing forward". Really frustrating how on FFN they always seem to pick their fighter a couple of rounds in and stay with them no matter how the fight is going in front of them.

Had it 115-114 Daws, so not particularly disturbed by the draw.

Smith was reading from his script again while not watching the fight.
Nice guy and really loves the game though!

I think Smith had decided before the fight that Daws would win the last six, with all the talk of his "engine".I thought the scoring wasnt bad,and they were at least in line with each other. It was the commentators that got it wrong

could see how they got a draw, as it depends how you saw the first 6 rounds, daws won the last 6 imo. i had cook rnds 1&2, 3&4 even, 5&6 cook, the rest to daws so i had daws by 2pts

I had it 115-113 to Lenny Daws I felt his fitness down the stretch won it for him, Cook fought very well early but faded late It was a resonabley close fight but I felt Daws deserved it

They were saying Daws was doing well the whole time in the 8th round, when actually I taught it was probably the clearest Cook round apart from the 1st.

Cookie had a very poor 7th and they just seemed to keep momentum with their praise throughout 8 despite the total opposite happening, almost as though they didn't watch the round. I firmly believe with a bit more activity Cook would win handily, he didn't take much punishment even in the last 4, he was just gassed, far superior skills during the first half though!

Just watched Williams v Grant. It was a very entertaining and skillful English title fight. I had it fairly wide to Williams he landed the cleaner shots. I really like Grant and hope he can come again I think he is definetly domestic class but it was a good performance by Williams on the night

Good fight. Good performances from both, but a draw was harsh on Daws IMO. Cook boxed wonderfully at times and despite his lost youth, the experience he has built up clearly came into play. Daws finished strongly as usual and it's shame he didn't get another notch towards keeping the Lonsdale Belt.
