Bojado hadn't beaten anyone himself and had already lost to a journeyman, turns out he was overrated. If Bojado was motivated then he would be fighting at lightweight. At the time of the Gatti fight, come on? Leija didn't stand a chance. Too big and strong for a man his age and size to beat. I don't think Ward pushes Mitchell and Cotto as close as Lovemore did. Im not arguing whether Lovemore is top 10 or not. Im saying Gatti has yet to beat a top ten lightwelter despite being a title holder. Forget top ten then, lets say top fighter at the weight.

Two ways of looking at this one. On one hand Witter dropped a guy with a proven chin, twice, and landed some heavy bombs (at least in the first half of the fight. On the other hand, had N'dou not gone down Witter may have lost the fight going by the score cards.

In the second half he was f*cked and seemed to run out of ideas. The final swing at the end when he fell over made him look really awful but to be fair to him a win is a win and this will open doors to to bigger fights.

De La Hoya has offered him a 3 fight contract so he was obviously impressed even if the crowd wasn't.

I'm not getting carried away but well done for the win.

If he gets by Branco, he's in with a shout at Gatti, because Mayweather looks like he may be going to the big house.
