Shirow organises training camps over at the wildcard.
Re: my training with freddie roach
Great stuff Larry. Can you tell us a bit more about the experience? Is the wildcard like a 'normal' gym? What did Freddie tell you?

Re: my training with freddie roach
Guys it was an amazing experience and believe it or not was my missus's idea. It was about 6 months in the making b4 I went out there and 2 weeks b4 I went I was told by someone in the gym that he wouldn't have time for me as he would be training pacquiao for mayweather. but the day b4 we left the mayweather fight was called off and so when we got there he had time for me. I was there for 2 weeks but I only sparred twice there with a very good heavyweight called Lateef Kayode. He is 10 and 0 at the moment and the first sparring session didn't go well for me as i was still jetlagged but i did much better in the second session, so much so that freddie took me on the pads and then we clicked from there. Freddie is a very funny guy by the way. So I worked with him for the rest of my stay and also did an early morning stairs session on malibu beach with Alex Ariza which killed me but i did it well according to Ariza. Kavannah was there as well as Vanes Martrioysan who I did the stairs with. It was very friendly there, they welcomed me with open arms but when u train there, it is all business, no messing around until ur work is done. But afterwards it is very relaxed. Freddie's brother is so funny and so nice and was the comic relief there. I also saw that cuban prospect that has just joined Freddie. He has an amazing assistant trainer called paul who is a freddie in the making. I missed Amir Khan by a week when I got there and on my second to last day there manny was supposed to arrive in the gym but only his cornermen came and they said manny was tired from the flight.
