The event has 8 pro bout and 4 WC to my knowledge. The event is headlined by Tim Witherspoon.
Anyway after a couple of road runs and a couple of light weights sessions I started in the boxing gym tonight..
We did 5 mins skipping, 5 rounds on the bags and 7 on the pads (2 padding) and an army style circuit (press ups, sit ups, med ball, dips, etc)
My trainer recorded my pad work and showed me where I was going wrong.
He also said when/if I fight for him he would want me (due to my height) get down to 91kilo and box at light heavyweight. I think thats 14st3lbs.
I will have to decide soon as I dont want to get down to like 15 stone then be getting in there with a taller, more experienced 18stoner lol.
yeah they do some good shows , been talking to tim about fighting on one of my shows later this year too .
there weight divisions are different to the rest the light heavy you refer to is cruiser in most but they have super heavyweight too so dont think youd be in with an 18 stone guy as hed be a super heavy , super heavy champ for ebf is daz davies who headlines the nottingham show i just mentioned above vs erik the viking .
wheres the show your on ?
there not pro fights on there though , dont be fooled by that , its all white collar , pros arent allowed to fight on those shows , theyd lose their license .
