Malignaggi couldn't knock out this annoying gobshite of an emocion -

Never mind Khan. :box:
Anybody who can drop Ndou, can drop Khan , end off , Pauly is quick , he does have a good chin , he's fighting at a more natural weight , me thinks there giving Khan to much credit if they think he'll walk through Pauly , ok Pauly is'nt top 3 but then again neither is Khan .

well malinaggi shook diaz a few times in their last fight and i dont think diaz chin is half as questionable as khans he unified a division and has only been stopped by marquez

Lets face it. We all knew it was going to be Malignaggi. I'm not going to complain though. It's not that bad of a fight really.

The only thing you can complain about, is that this fight isn't PPV worthy :shame:. I'd watch it if the fight was free though .

its a very good fight.Malinaggi is a world class established light welter and can be brilliant at times so im looking forward to this one.
Im glad it wasnt marquez who shouldnt fight above light weight.
people seem to think maidana is a world beater just coz he destroyed a few dodgy colombians then ortiz who quit when the going got tough. He lost to kotelnik and would get beat by all of the other top light welters

I'd say it's possible, he's better and hits harder than Limmond. Granted Khan has come on leaps and bounds since then but it's possible, i think it will be a tough fight for Khan.

Why is this one the test? Just curious.

Khan has almost every possible physical advantage and is fighting one of the lightest hitters in boxing, at least at the world class level. For me a fight with a big puncher who won't go away easy would be more of a test, or even a fight with a guy who has decent pop and skills. Khan won't be forced to show the improvments he has supposedly made under Roach, because Malignaggi doesn't have the pop to take him out at anytime. IMO this is a fight Khan would have won even before the Prescott ordeal.

OK JMM fights PBF and it WAS not a brutal fight, do you think for one minute he would be worried about fighting Khan, come on it doesn't make sense.
Think it is more likely JMM is pissed about being used as a stepping stone by his own promotional company and decided against a fight that is a high risk small reward for him. Can see JMM vs Hatton this summer..

agreed, nowhere near a PPV fight, I suppose Sky and Fwank will build it up and make out that Malignaggi is a murderous puncher and dig up some 10 yr old film of him KO'ing some roadsweeper..like they did with Salita...proper boxing fans see thru it and dont buy the sh@t but they are targeting the casual sports fan

Fwank will be banging on about how he had Tim Bradley lined up and Khan has opted for the softer touch.

well I think this would be a real good fight if it came off and one I would love to watch only it would be stateside. Don't think we'll se a lot of Khan over here any more....which is a pit means I'll have to find another pet favourite to watch....Haye Ruiz excites me none.
I'd favour Khan to come through versus Malignaggi, by a 3 or 4 round margin.

Maliganggi is a little warrior but I have to say I think Khan will destroy him in 3 rounds .

Really? Malignaggi has a solid chin and has never been badly hurt or destroyed in that type of fashion and he has fought Cotto and Hatton. If Khan put on that type of performance it would make a huge statement, but I think it is highly unlikely Malginaggi folds in three rounds.

I think a late stoppage is a possibility though.

Yeah I agree to a degree but whilst both Hatton and Cotto were great fighters neither could unload punches like Khan . Paulie does have a solid chin but if he isnt replying with any punches the ref will call a halt to the fight .
