Local favorite and former welterweight contender Chris "Shaka" Henry won the vacant CABOFE 154lb title in Bridgetown, Barbados scoring a 3 round TKO over outclassed visitor Troy Lewis of Guyana. This victory puts Shaka back on the winning track and paves the way for the defense of his IBU jr mIddlewight belt on March 26th. Another CABOFE title bout in the super middleweight division saw titleholder Marcus Thomas of Barbados keep his record untarnished in 8 fights with a 2 round TKO over Judah Sealey of Guyana. Other bouts on the card: Miguel Antoine KO1 Malcom Smith (lightweight) Julian Tannis W4 Derrick Jones (light heavywight). Antoine, just 17, was making his pro debut. The card, the first of the year by promotor Sam Layne, was held at the Sir Garfield Sobors Sport Complex and was attended by over 1,500 patrons, an evidence that boxing is alive and well in sunny Barbados.

What does the title stand for? Is it Barbados' national title?

Looks like a Carribbean association of boxing type thing. That's my guess anyway.

It probably stands for Carribbean Boxing Federation.

Is the Fecarbox title still going? Perhaps Cabofe is another sanctioning body's version of a Carribbean title.

Both Fecarbox and CABOFE are WBC regional sanctionbodies.
Fecarbox is for central american (Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico (southern), Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Florida)

Cabofe is for the carribians (Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, San Cristobal, Santa Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Curazao, Guadalupe,
Martinique, San Martin)
