Why is Rob Calloway missing from the fold?

Post by BoxBuzz »

As we review the talent in the field of LHW's we find that the quintessential "American Prizefighter" is somehow missing.

Is there any reason on god's green earth that he is not here? He would single handidly bring reason and discipline to this tournament?

The answer? Protectionism....pure and simple. Just as with Harry Greb, the fix has been in.

FREE ROB CALLOWAY!

Our Harry Greb campaign finally paid off, just ask Kevo. Now it's Rob's turn to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting managers.

I fully support Buzz' Rob Calloway campaign. Maybe a tourney is in order?

Calloway has no LHW rating in the Sim. He's either a CW or HW. Spinks, Tunney, Greb, etc.. all had LHW ratings. Sorry Buzz.

Are posters requesting Rob Calloways presence because he had a good run of victories during an earlier brs season? :)

Good run? When I had him he had a terrible record.

This record is not indicitive of TubeSockCock Promotions promoting ability, it only reflects the ability, or lack there of, of our former fighter, Rob Calloway.

Now that's what I call "damage limitation".

However he could provide good opportunity as a "test case" for "iffy" training methods. In other words a first class test for the management pool.

However Tzyu has proven to be an Iron Willed commish who has never backed down once he has stated a rule or regulation. (With the glaring exception of allowing one "special" champion to give into paralyzing fear without consequence when a mandatory was expected.) But he has learned well since then and has shown no further "weak kneed" dynamics.

So reluctantly we once again accept the verdict.

We are tweaking our training methods for Billy Conn. If allowable as an exhibition give him a shot at that dangerous HW. WE all know he used to be able to handle himself with the big boys, let's see if he's still got it.

Works for me! I just don't want to start a precedent of taking up more of your time. It's too hard to find a good commish these days.
