Just wondering what if anyone knows the state of play with Woolcombe, who had some talent and heart.

The British Light Middleweight scene seems to have moved on with Ryan Rhodes looking for big fights and Jamie Moore moved up. Just seems Woolcombe's name is not being banded about for the "next" generation - we have Small vs Webb coming up, but Woolcombe seems to be not mentioned much.

As a former British champion, how about Woolcombe vs the Prize fighter winner in an eliminator fight?

I saw Gary at my last fight and he said he was taking a long break from boxing to clear his head. He seems like he is enjoying life a bit better now

he's been hard at it since young & has past expectations.a break will do him good as he's still relativly fresh & young.
