10-8 to the Armenian, Lawtong down, and hurt, might be cut round the eye, too.
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Lawton be lucky to get through another round!
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round

2-0 Armenian (10-8)
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Lawton getting battered, hurt, takes a standing count.
Stop these, please, someone.

Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Lawton is gonna go, won't last the round, no legs.
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Over now! Lawton should never got this shot. Hatton promotions another poor main event!
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Lawton comes out, shaking, well sparked, and ref calls it off.
Shocking matchmaking, dangerously mis-matched, and a weak main event.
Sorry, but not a good advert for boxing.
No disrespect to Lawton, but poor guy- he was out of his depth. And looking at his record, we KNEW that.

I dont know why I only put £10 on the under @ 11/10. It was only ever going to go one way
That was like Walker v Karmazin all over again

Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Hmm how tough was Gomez to come thru a war with that guy a the winner
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Given as a "technical count out?"
Surely a knockout? Or at least, a TKO?

Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
This is the worse British challenger for Euro title since David Walker.jBacca wrote:I agree.whicker wrote:Lawton comes out, shaking, well sparked, and ref calls it off.

Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
Lawton has no business fighting at that level. That was uncomfortable viewing.

Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
There was only going to be one winner but Lawton looked shell shocked even before he stepped in the ring. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but this man gave former European lightweight champion Jon Thaxton some problems before being stopped in the sixth.
Re: Friday Fight Night Round by Round
That is the official phrase they use, a KO where the ref doesn't count to 10.whicker wrote:Given as a "technical count out?"

Lots didn't read the thread discussing this fight (when it was made). Many gave Lawton a chance.whicker wrote:Lawton comes out, shaking, well sparked, and ref calls it off.
