Kell Brook
Kell Brook
Kell's upcoming fight is for one of those intercontinental belts, but where will that leave him on the world scene if he wins that? I take it he is going to complete bypass the European scene?
Re: Kell Brook
It's looking that way, doesn't seem as though Frankybabes can tempt the Pole over.winkveron wrote:Kell's upcoming fight is for one of those intercontinental belts, but where will that leave him on the world scene if he wins that? I take it he is going to complete bypass the European scene?

Re: Kell Brook
well it's been said before I think he needs to fight a couple of gatekeepers before he goes in with a good 'un. There's not been enough resistance in a lot of his opposition in my eyes, although that does testify to his skill and power a bit.
Would like to see Kell defend against O'Donnell and then Thompson or Cox before moving on. Or ideally Matthew Hatton, should Hatton be able to negotiate his way through an eliminator, which is no given. But realistically that would require a degree of desire from Hatton to get in the British mix....which I cannot forsee.

Am i the only one who thinks Kell is far too inactive, don't think he's been kept busy enough. Not his fault and i know he's only 23 but he should be fighting 4 times a year in my opinion.

Re: Kell Brook
Yeah he pulled out of the fight with Jennings due to illness as I recall and then Jennings pulled out the re-arranged match with a dodgy hand......... Re: Kell Brook
if he sold more than 74 tickets I am sure his promoter would probably have more incentive to get him on the bill, too.
Re: Kell Brook
it helps to get fans if you have fights. Specially if you're a late starter and not exactly a local lad.
To be fair to El Maachi, not a lot he could have done better last time out, or his new promoter is doing by sounds of it.

Re: Kell Brook
maybe Neil Sinclair would fancy a crack at 15grand his career didn't bring the riches he once hoped. He clearly has no mind to retire at present. And he's due out at LM shortly, and he has a decent British rating....top 10-12 I believe.
Re: Kell Brook
looking forward to seeing kell in action in liverpool
