HATTON VS ALVAREZ

Post by damianhucker1 »

Apologies if this has been covered , but ive not seen it , apparantly Matthew Hatton has signed to fight Saul Alvarez on the undercard of PBF v Mosley
the 19 year old Alvarez is unbeaten in 31 bouts , this will be a tough fight for hatton as there obviuosly trying to use him as a stepping stone for the youngster and get credit for it by it being Ricky's bro .

Anyone think theres any chance hatton could get anything out of this .
Personally i think hes stopped in 5

I would be surprised if this fight actually happens, you no how it is....a good looking under card fight is made and it never actually happens.

I would be amazed if it happens given Ricky's fighting the month after.

Good luck to him, though. But Alvarez looks a step above N'Dou.

Ye I thought Matty would be on Ricky's bill but he's durable and always good to see some British interest on the undercards of these super fights, use to get it a lot before with Kevin Mitchell and a few others who I cant think of at the moment.

hopefully it happens , how do you mean by not holding his breath ? i assume that means that alvarez is not playing ball in negotiations or something .

The fight is not agreed. Matthew would like it but no negotiations have taken place http://www.brandhatton.com/VideoNews/80 ... greed.aspx

I hope this comes off, it would probably be a good fight, but Alvarez would beat up Hatton.

The fight has been mentioned to Matthew by Golden Boy but after seeing fights like the Zab Judah one fall through and then the so called MAyweather fight Matt is just waiting for something more concrete
