What fighter would you watch?

Post by Crease »

Okay guys this thread is dedicated to posing the question...
Which boxer would you like to watch in action?

Because of the very nature of boxing, I am assuming that most of the answers will be 1880-1940...

Note; Obviously it has to be a boxer that you haven't watched video footage of before. :TU:

Easy. Not even contestable.

Greb. I used to have Monzon as my all-time #1 for Middle, but eventually relegated him for Greb & his impossible record. I'd love to see if my hunch is justified.

With no real footage to speak of, this guy is Boxing's Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Good call on Greb,

When first I saw this thread that was my first thought, Greb record speaks volumes but no one has seen him on film. Was he a swarmer, boxer-puncher, how about his defense? By far this is the fighter that I would love to see in action. Tunney, Walker, Flowers, and so on. I read that he was fearless and very aggressive, but with no film we can only speculate. Also this guy is listed at being 5’8 fighting from middle weight all the way to heavyweight.

The two fights with Robinson & gavilan. Two of my personal alltime top 10 greatest fighters for 30 rounds.

I'd love to see langford/Gans as well.
