good fighter but he doesnt sell tickets like standing said, he only gets like a handful of algerians/moroccans supporting him.

signing with goodwin promotions looks like a backwards step with me but he's gotta do something to get fights.

There's a campaign of trolls lurking on every fighter and gym's facebook page, declaring how he is the best fighter in his weight class right now in Europe and possibly the world.

This isnt a backward step. Its a forward one. No need for any of you to worry about ticket sales (thats my problem!).

Brian Rose is welcome to take advantage of the offer. I am awaiting the call!

What we want for boxing is for no more talk. Just action. Its what the fans want. Every fighter has this opportunity so no more sounding out.

Dont mention names like Brian Rose or any other names. Waste of time. Get them to call me and get it on.

I would not like to see that yet, Brian is not strong enough and hasn't matured yet to be in with someone like El Maachi IMO.

Thanks for the replies and the good wishes.

I am a different Steve Goodwin from the manager!!!

Two of us in the boxing business now.

We will still pay the boxers who fight Yassine a purse. So for example if they are on 2k and win they get a 13k bonus.

There is also £50,000 on offer to Anthony Small to fight Yassine on any of our shows. I do not consider this a risk Yassine will beat him!

We have one boxer who has put his head above the parapit!!!

We are here to promote the boxing business. Lets hope boxers out there take the bait. The higher ranked fighter the better. We are not looking for easy fights!!!

Why would Rose want to fight him, above him in the rankings I should think and closing in on british title eliminators.

i would like to see either of the 2 midlands lads that just contested the LM area title have a go as I think it would be interesting viewing. Conception and apologies the other lad (who won, but didn't) name escapes me.

But defo Small. If Small thinks he's that good which he clearly does he should try to grab some cash, he needs to do something given the stink job he just served up.

At least Yassine would attack him, which brings a bit more activity out of Small.

Will it happen? Doubt it.

Firstly Brian Rose is below him in the World Rankings!! Yassine does not have a British passport and is not ranked in British, Commonwealth or European rankings. He is ranked 51st in the world in Box Rec which would make him number 5 in Britain if he qualified.

Second point Conception and Kevin Hammond are fighting again. Hammond has turned down the offer as he wants a rematch with Conception.

Thirdly I believe Yassine is a World class fighter. Hence the money offer.

Fourth and finally. The only reason the Small fight will not happen is if he does not want it. We do not believe he will want it!

Small might not want the fight but I dont think Sky will want the fight either, it would be an awful clash of styles. Small v someone like Matty Hall is a good fight but like we saw with McDonagh two awkward guys is no good.

No offence but Anthony Small is bigger than your company and he's a Sky TV fighter so it would have to be on a Hatton bill for him to take it.

The size of our company is irrelevant. Its the money that matters.

With all due respect I am not offering the money on condition Sky film it.

Of course the obvious excuse that it has to be on a Hatton bill. Of course I am not going to put the money up on a Hatton bill!

To be fair your post is all that is wrong with Boxing.

You are criticising us, saying Sky doesnt want it and telling us who should promote it!

Good luck to you Steve on the promoting front, but if you can afford £50k to pay Small for non-televised boxing you must have bundles to throw at the sport.

Incidentally mate, are you the 'Steve Goodwin' who lost to Reid and then beat McCreesh on a disqualification

It may be but this is Boxing now and we have very little TV when it comes to things and TV talks.

Credit has to go to you for starting up but my point is Yassine will go nowhere fast boxing on your shows.

How can you say Yassine will go nowhere on Steves shows Yassine hasnt exactly been active and no other promoter has given him regular fights
If Steve is prepared to do this on small hall shows fair play He is putting his money where his mouth is.
To offer Small 50k Small wouldnt get that for a british title defence and after that terrible fight with Mcdonaugh he aint worth 50k
Fair play to Steve its a big risk to put that sort of money up But at least everyone talking about it
Whether Yassine is a top level fighter or not time will tell But dont slag a guy off for trying to get him the bigger fights Without TV backing
