The Three C reaction to week 19:

Post by Crease »

The 3 Cs would like to post it's amazement and the results if both of its fights:
Relevant result

Chegui Torres vs Jeff Harding - Harding by TKO in round 6
*Fight was stopped because of the ref*

The 3 Cs would like to thank Harshfriller for an excellent bout of boxing...

They would also like to remind the critics that Torres was ahead in the fight before the referee (mistakenly) stopped the fight. :shame:

But, what an excellent fight, both fighters knocking each other down... :box:

The 3 Cs interviewed Torres following the bout:

"I thought I had Harding... He was swinging and he was missing... The stats will show you that. (punching accuracy 9.4%) ;;-)

He knocked me down, it was a sucker punch, I wasn't really hurt... :shame:
But I knew that I hurt him. :OhYes:

A rematch? Certainly, I am the better boxer, I am more skilled and I certainly proved that on the judges scorecards

The afore-said scorecards were
Judge 1... 47 to 46 Torres
Judge 2... 48 to 46 Torres
Judge 3... 47 to 46 Torres

Carl Froch vs Nigel Benn - Benn by narrow (unfair) points victory.

Carl "The Cobra" Froch suffered his first loss tonight at the hands of Nigel Benn.

Here is what "The Cobra" had to say:

"Tonight was a real slugfest for the fans... He hit me, so I hit him harder!

I am stronger than Benn and tonight I proved it... I knocked him down, he couldn't put me down. :shame:

I thought that I did enough to win the fight, and I believe the ref cost me something...
In round 12, 01:04
Froch was warned for (a suspect) low blow.
Parris is letting the judges know...

That point could have cost me the fight. :shame:

But I will comeback, all the great champions do... And I will have Nigel Benn on my radar".... :TU:

All 3 judges scored the bout: 114-113 in Benn's favour.

You should have called for a immediate rematch then. :OhYes:
