I think Audley still has much to prove, despite winning Prizefighter. I will probably watch this fight though, though he'll probably lose.

I don't think Audley will win, he has a lot of ability, but mentally he is weak - A fighter with his skills should never have been outboxed by someone like Rogan.

I'm not falling into the trap this time, he'll be flinching his way to a points loss in my opinion.

Yet again, Audley is getting way too far ahead of himself even mentioning the Klitschko's. He should realise how fortunate he is to be fighting for the European title on the back of winning Prizefighter. He's also totally out of order dissing Haye.

If, and it's a massive if in my opinion, he gets past Sosnowski, he should be looking at a REALISTIC opponent in the summer to break him into the World Top 10. There's no way he'll get a title shot off the back of a win over Sosnowski. Alexander Dimitrenko, who I believe is European mandatory anyway and ranked No.9 by The Ring, would seem the obvious choice. He's at least 3-4 big wins away from Wlad though.

I have a feeling this will all end in tears in April anyway.............

I have warmed to Audley recently as well, he kind of stopped becoming an arse in interviews and his views and opinion of himself are'nt so delusional. I think having Lamon Brewster in his camp advising him has helped, He almost seems grounded and not as delusional as before.

I really want him to win this, and I think he will. Albert will run out of options if Audley comes in with a warriors heart, Aud will let him eat jab and nullify inside work by Sos for the first few rounds, Albert's workrate will not mean jack if he can't get close to Aud. Albert will get desparate and try and go inside Audleys reach and then get caught cold by a Cross or a upper cut (when it is on key the best upper cut in the HW division). forget TKO, I see a KO win for Aud before round 8.

I really want to see a positive Audley, the warrior, using the skills which he has undoubtably got at his disposal and to show some of that promise that nearly every british boxing fan knows he has.

I think the reason why people are warming to him is two fold, firstly you got to respect his determination, many would have given up by now, Aud has become an underdog with a will to win(us Brits love that), secondly De-gale and his rantings make Big Aud seem humble. I hope he can do well for himself, don't like this dissing of Haye though :shame:

Everyone loves a good comeback story but this simply won't be it.

Even if he does beat Sosnowski, he will still be a long way from a title shot.

In an era when fighters don't have to do much to earn "world" title shots, Audley getting one off the back of a winning streak against Belshaw, Hughes, Barrett and Sosnowski would probably be the most underserving crack at a world strap ever!

I wish him luck but when the number of tentative, negative and downright poor performances outweigh the good one(s?? :D )I certainly won't be backing him against any top 30-40 Heavyweight.

If Audley comes in with a warrior's heart?????????? Is ra2006 yanking our collective chain?

He's MUCH more likely to fight with a worrier's heart.

But I hope he wins. Odd how Sosnowski was viewed as a complete joke and the epitome of the Faruq Saleemesque padded record fighter not so long ago.

I disagree with his views on Haye aswell. I think it hurt him when he saw the raise and raise of his former understudy, and to be honest I think it has given him a kick up the backside. I think he must forget droning out the "yes I Can' crap and focus on his executing of good world class performances in the ring and let that do the talking.

I have always had a feeling that he could do something special one day, and what I have been hearing lately in you tube interviews and on articles in the appears that he is coming across less of a dickhead, he almost sounds that he's just a twat now, which is an improvement.

According to Aud he brought Dave in when he was getting invited to everything in the US, says he introduced him to the people he is now doing business with there. After a Harrison loss (Williams), Lennox paid a visit and Haye happened to be in for sparring. Apparently Haye really went for it and Aud was peed off that he did it in front of Lennox straight after he had lost.

It then got a bitchy in the press when Audley asked for a slot on a Hayemaker show and was told there was no room for him. I was with Haye on this, the promotional outfit had only had a couple of shows following some big talk and Audley's reputation was in absolute tatters having experienced another loss (think this one was Rogan). Putting him on the show would have given some people a big stick to beat Hayemaker with.

Sosnowski is in great condition and doesn't lack stamina like Audley does. Sosnowski is a come forward fighter and Audley can't fight like that. No doubt he'll watch Sosnowski's KO of Danny Williams. Audley is going to freeze and crap his pants. Audley has to beat him in the first 3 rounds or he has no chance.

I’m going with a Sosnowsk KO round 5.

Agreed. Someone was talking about the Pole 'not being able to get near Audley'. If Audley knew how to use his size, this might be true, but he doesn't, he has no defence, he just uses the earmuff technique (ineffectively) and is static. If he ever had reflexes, they're not apparent now.

All Audley does, when he even throws anything at all, is paw his jab (more to try and keep the opponent away than as a range finder) and swing the occasional wild left hand, winding it up theatrically, for it to land in the next postcode. Any sort of pressure fighter is Audley's worst nightmare. If Sosnowski has done his homework he could make this very easy on himself. Just tuck up and be aggressive. Once he's got Audley in his shell he's got it won.
