Well Done Brian Magee

Post by My T Sharp »

He has officially landed on the world scene.

His fight against Calzaghe will be for the WBO title. He has blazed into the February rankings at number 12. :D

Here is an extract of the explanations:

12 – Brian Magee (23-1) –IRE- TKO’ed Neil Linford in the seventh round on Nov. 26, 04.
15- Robin Reid (37-4-1) –GB- Won a 12 round unanimous decision over Brian Magee on Jun.2, 2004.
There's nothing like a fair ranking system

Dude, that's hilarious. I'd actually like a printout of that forwarded to every boxing journalist in the UK -- the Grauniad is bigging up boxing coverage at the moment, see if Rawling can get a copy -- along with a query as to why Calzaghe seems content to spew utter bullshit whilst hiding behind what is apparently no better than the regional "joke" titles that Junior Witter so recently derided.

The WBO ratings get worse, this opponent is on standby if case Brian pulls out.

#13 - Debbie Magee - former wife of TV magician Paul Daniels.

Maybe they're together now I thought they seperated a couple years back. You cant blame her she still looks reasonable compared to that bald little pudendum!

Oh ie, Debbie Magee is still very much in the yes column, but I don't think they have ever seperate - Les Dennis split with Amada Holden a couple of years ago.

Anyway, it was still funny a feck.

Yes, Bob Mortimer is ranked lower than Les after his victory over him in the inagural "The Fight" programme for Comic Relief. So Les is on standby

Well its his best win and it was 8 years ago almost. His record is an absolute disgrace when you consider his talents. Allegedly's finest hour.
