You hear the stories - Roy Keane has gone from a lad who had a few bouts as a junior to being the next Barry McGuigan! Wayne Rooney come from a family of boxers? his old man was an amateur boxer as was his brother but thats hardly a family of boxers is it? The Spinks brothers are a family of boxers - the Rooneys not so.

None of them would have been any good but I would love to see the 'hard cases' of the football world in the ring with a decent journeyman and lets see how hard they are after a round or two.

visit youtube and check out Barton on the bag at Ricky's place when he was at City. Cack-handed thug. His physical power and muscle mass would help him overpower your average kid outside a Macdonald's or could intimidate a lot of blokes into defeat with his temper, but tust me, Barton is cack-handed and cannot throw a punch for sh*t. Barton would be sharpe on his backside if he met anyone with a bit of savvy.

I've never really thought Vinnie Jones would be much kop in a fight either, although I do admire his will to win on the football field.

Anyone remember the bust up Franny Jeffers had with Sander Westerveld a few year ago. Blimey that was embarrassing too, like pin the tail on the donkey from Jeffers.

I wouldn't especially like to come across Drogba or Viera up a back alley...altho you'd be okay with Drogba if you were on camera, you could tickle him over lol.

Great admirer of Shearer's ability but whenever he played United he was always a niggly little b*stard starting bother.

Shearer now my second least favourite pundit behind Mark Lawrenson....."show us your medals boys and you're in"...both a fcking banal as each other. Lawrenson fcking ruined the Manchester Cup derby game for me with his unfunny smart-*ss jokes. The pair of 'em really put me off BBC matches.
