allegedly advertises on sky, Mick Hennessy advertises on Boxrec. That's why Froch's relatively unknown.

This is probably a good move for Froch. He is still not well known at all by the vast, vast majority of the population. All exposure is worthwhile. The panel on "A Question of Sport" last week had Froch in the picture round, it was a full face shot and you could even see his boxing gloves; they didn't have a clue who he was. Even when Sue said the correct answer, they looked none the wiser. That is terrible when you consider he is a legitimate world champion.

Surprised Matt Dawson didn't know it. He's a bit of a fan by all accounts, and has even been spotted at small hall shows. In fact, I'm sure he was at a HS show a few years back when they were doing the "Real class of 2002" business...

Right ive just read on another thread that spud has pm'd people saying hes got some subject or another to wind people up with or something along those lines .

I must say im puzzled , spud , ive never had an arguement with you , unlike most on here , who are in my opinion usually right , but ive just never been bothered to, but i see no reason why you should go around winding people up , this is negative to the forum , if your long term aim is to improve exposure for boxing etc then you would be doing better by attracting people to this forum not trying to drive people away ,

It was funny to read your ramblings at first , and im sure most people thought that but i now feel youve gone too far , if it wasnt for the fact that i know youd do the complete opposite id say its time for you to call it a day before everyone else goes . The british and irish forum was imo the best part of boxrec but i now find myself posting with the far more chilled out other sports posters more often .
