Kindly update my name Joseph Sarkody to Joseph Sarkodie of my biography. My stance is orthodox.
My record is full of mistakes. Who has been feeding you with such information? This is not right. I've never fought in Algeria neither did I fight in some of the states in France. I returned to Ghana from France in 2007 and I've never traveled again. My last fight in France was Walid Gamazi in Palais des Sports, Toulon, Var, France which was Draw. Almost 16 to 17 fights you've recorded in my record wasn't fought by me.
Who gave you all those informations?
I turn to profession in boxing in 1997 not 1999. I fought with several boxers which has not even be recorded. You need to do your work right.

I think there are 2 different persons Joseph Sarkodie from Ghana and European boxer probably called Joszef Sarkody probably from Hungary or Slovakia, who used to fight in Serbia for example. Anyway this needs investigation.

May be they even saw each other. 2 losses in France 24 november 2001 really make no sense.

I don't know who feed you with such informations but my real name is Joseph Sarkodie, A middleweight boxer. I never knew there was this error made longtime ago till my coach informed me about it 3 days ago. This has turn a burden and frustration for me. I can't allow somebody to be messing with my career.

Maybe you've combined my name with someones else..I don't know but almost 16 to 17 fights recorded on my record wasn't fought by me. Though I've been to Europe and fought some couple of fights which is not even up to 5 I never lose them all. I turned to professional in 31-01-1997 when I fought with Emmanuel Odoi and knocked him on 4th rounds. I never turn to professional in 1999. I fought couple of fights here in Ghana, in Togo, Nigeria and cote d'voire before traveling to France. None of this fights was recorded. I will inform our Local Commission here in Ghana to provide to you my records. What you have on boxrec is full of Error and crap.
I will edge boxrec to have a complete proof of a fight before recording it. A photo of the boxer fighting or anything from a better source and not just a word from someone's mouth. I think many of the Boxers in Ghana is having the same problem with you.

Sandis, You might be right but I don't know who that Joszef Sarkody is. I wish there was a way we could check on his record here on Boxrec. This need a better investigation and whoever is found doing this should be help responsible and punished. This is crazy.
Listen, I was introduce into Boxing by the Family of Joshua Clottey. We were very good friends and still is even though we don't get along with each other these days due to different management. I've been on a good side in terms of boxing wanting to reach the highest level of it. Joshua was in amateur when I started boxing but he turned to Professional somewhere 1993. I don't have to say this story but I hate what they've to me and my career. Gosh, this is serious.

So how are you going to investigate in the bouts that happened and those that did not happen? Every fight been fought by any Ghanaian boxer outside the country is always recorded by the commission here in Ghana. They keep every record of boxer here in Ghana not only fights that are been fought here. One important thing is, every Ghanaian boxer have his files at the commission here in Ghana due to a lot reason. A boxer from Ghana can never fight if the commission here in Ghana did not approve of the fight that's why every record of a Ghanaian boxer is mostly accurate by the commission.
When I was in France every bout that happen, information is always send to our commission in Ghana. So they records it in my records on my files. So how can someone provide them with wrong information it can never be approved?
