Michigan Golden Gloves are almost here!!!!

for those of you in the state of MI, talk to me. what should I expect at this years Golden Gloves? I've heard some of last years fighters have gone pro. thats good cause it opens the door for some new talent, but is there any new talent?

Follow my thread about the Michigan Golden Gloves. Here is the info from the thread:
These dates are fast approaching. With the new weight classes: 108, 114, 123 instead of 106, 112, 119 and 123, I think there will be more boxers in the 123 and 132 classes this year. I have heard about a lot going into the 132 and 152 classes. Returning champions:
201+: Kyle McNutt - I don't know his plans
201: Jordan Shimmell - He will be in the tournament again (5th year in a row)
178: Vernon Washington - Haven't heard anything about him since last year
165: Brandon Larvadain - I am assuming he will boxing @ 165 again
152: Jose Bernal - he is back training and competing so look for him to enter 152 again
141: Johnny Garcia - turned pro on February 20th so he won't be back
132: Raeese Aleem - he will be back to defend his title
123 (last year - 125): Ryan Schmidt - I have heard that he will be back, but might be boxing at 132
Last year's 119: Richard Munoz - moved to Texas so he will probably be competing down there
114 (last year - 112): Tyler James - I heard he moved to Las Vegas, but I'm not sure
108 (last year - 106): No returning champ

A lot of the other top open class boxers are returning. As far as new boxers, I am not aware of any JO's that will be moving into the open class and making an immediate impression.
