Post by Londonirish »

I have'nt seen him, aint sure if many has...?

Is he any good, he has'nt Beat NO one what so ever, lost his Debut to a 0-5-0,
that opponent went on to have 12 fights with only the 1 Win against Krzysztof Bienias...

No thats who im talking about...

Look at his Record http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

He aint fought anyone, his last fight against a 9-0 but look he beat, he's rated light welterweight 209 in the world, before that Sven Paris 27-4 but who did he beat, he's 224 in the world, before that it was Cristian Frias 20-4-2 who is also a light welterweight and is 594 in the world winning all his fights against people who were making there Debut... Have a look.....

Sorry, misunderstood. I'll repeat what I said in my earlier post before I edited it:

I saw Witter KO Bienias a few years ago and I expect Brook to do the same. Bienias isn't terrible but he's very basic and has a fragile look about him. But then to be fair he's not even the best welterweight in Poland...

He did beat a certain Yuri Romanov , albeit at a very early stage in Romanov's career. Gosh what a wasted talent that guy is....he seems to have dropped of he planet!

I don't think Witter KO'd Bienias - I think it was an early cut.

Never spotted that, very good boxer but as you say he only had 3 fights doing a 10 rounder...

Yeah he really is a waste. He gave up the EBU belt to go after the IBF belt - he was supposed to fight both Guzman and Angulo last year but they both fell through because it was found that Romanov has passport irregularities. He is still only 27/28 so there is still a chance he can comeback if he gets sorted soon. Will be two years next month since he fought Thaxton.

I remember watching the fight and I'm pretty sure he KOd him. Witter was on a bit of a knockout streak at that point. I could be wrong though.

Bienas is on a winning streak but realistically Brook should have no problems.

I was a massive Witter fan during that massive KO streak.

Still cannot fathom how him and Hatton was never made.
