National Police Gazette illustrations

Post by Robinson »

Hey gents

Where could one find more illustratrions of those in the National Police Gazette ?

Sadly the local libraries here do not have them for me to scan. And I have tried
googling them. I have a few in boxing books and mags. I was wondering if anyone
had any here that they could upload etc...?

Or any illustrations from the news papers of that era in general.

Thanks again.

As an example

Sorry, can't help you, but when I was a boy in the '60s eagerly scanning the neighborhood drug store magazine rack for boxing magazines, the Police Gazette was always one that caught my eye. I remember Ringo Bonavena was on one of the covers....first I had heard of him.

Wish I had kept some of the boxing mags from that era.
