why does marquez have to be an arsehole? he needs to make up his mind what he is doing with the wbo title. this would be an even bigger fight if it was for a world title

I really fancy Mitchell to do a job. However, the odds are likely to be around even.

But thats not what you said.

Also, even if MItchell becomes a world champion he will not be as big as Khan.

ofcourse he won't, khan won silver at the olympics at 17, then had alot of his fights on itv, what do you expect

i can see mitchell winning but i'm not so confident he would KO katsiids.

mitchell ran a lot of miles in that prescott fight, didn't get so much weight into his shots, didn't turn many of his hooks over properly, and seemed content just to hit gloves for much of the fight. it was a good disciplined performance but i'm not sure he's a word level destroyer on the strength of it.

seems like this fight is worth a lot to team mitchell, as if he wins he'll probbaly be upgraded to champion outright. can't see jm marquez defending vs mitchell, never mind travelling to the UK, that's for sure.

I expect to watch ALL boxing on a regular subscription, by that I mean not on PPV, by my reckoning we should never have to pay for a Mitchell fight, he is a very good fighter, but I can imagine the 'domestic' level opposition Fwank might wheel out for him if he wins the World Title..Alex Arthur springs to mind.

If Mitchell fights Khan then I can 'maybe' see that as PPv, but that's due to Khan.

There is no way the fight will be PPV. I've read it will be on in May.

F*ck me!!! Snoopy appears again!!

Anyhow back to the thread - yet another excellent fight Mr W arren has secured for this country and he will get little credit for it too - and watch his undercard for this one in comparison to the Haye/Ruiz one - W arren maybe in some peoples opinions not a nice person - but unlike some promoters he knows how to put a decent show on.

Al Legedly said in BN (I think) that he was hoping to make a deal with Sky for both Friday and Saturday shows on regular sky. I suspect this would be a Saturday one with a view to making Mitchell a PPV star

Who writes these crap press releases for Frank? He should fire him immediately, unless he likes sounding like a bleedin idiot. Great fight though
