A sad Story you aint wrong, crazy what that shit can do to a person, look how big and strong that man is and how its got a hold of him :(

Its true... in fact its amazing he's been able to keep going in the ring this long, considering his ledge of problems over the years. It's one of them stories that forces you to shake your head as you read it.

Reminds me how great that series was when I was a kid. Nothing they have on now runs it close (unless you're a bit precocious and watch Skins but that doesn't count because it's Sixth Formers).

Re McCall - tragic - arguably the best chin, ever.

Actually, that's the best piece I've read by Steve Bunce.

His son got Kay'od the night after as well, not a great week for the McCalls.

His son may still make something of his pro career, i hope he doesn't follow his father down the wrong path

I was just watching McCall's rematch with Lewis and I have to say he has one of the best chins in the history of boxing. Not even flush shots with all of Lewis' force behind them could hurt him.
