running the marathon for the Down's Syndrome Association

Post by leprechaun »

hello everybody

i am running the london marathon in april for the Down's Syndrome Association

like all charities, this is a great charity for all the fine work they do to make life more enjoyable for people
with down's Syndrome

many years ago i had the pleasure to spend sometime with the very nice people that have down's syndrome and help in the best way i could.

now that i am running this marathon in their honor and to hope raise as much i can with a smile on my face as i am running around london.

if i could ask all the boxing fans and the good nature of the human beings to click on the link below at justgiving and donate as much as they can to help this great charity.
thanks in advance

I've stuck a contribution down mate.

It's a good charity and amongst one of the 7 that I currently support alongside Donkey Sanctuary (no kidding), Marie Curie, Banardos, Meningitis trust, RSPCA, Bookaid etc.

I would contribute to a retired boxer's charity if there was one, you know, those on hard times or living with a boxing related injury. But not seen one ?

Hope it helps in some way towards your target. I knew your name from somewhere and then I seen the pics and it dawned on me who you are.

The March Prediction League Fightlist is up if you get a chance to do it this month.

Best of look PJ :TU:

Just donated, though I had to give you something - the ribbing you got when you posted asking for the ireland boxing vest still makes me chuckle ;-)

yes i had to laugh aswell, a couple of people thought i was trying to pretend to be a irish boxer or something :) .
i was thinking about running the boston marathon and i was going to wear the irish vest over their.

but i decided to run for the downs association and i will very happy to wear the their vest instead and try to raise as much as i can for this great charity.

thanks for your donation ciscokid :TU:
