Another good bit from Paul Foley with Jim McDonnell - shaping into a decent little observer and writer is Paul
Ben with a piece on Carl 'Lucky' Dilks

Awesome stuff Ian and the lads.

Re: Yassine El Maachi gets Bradley Pryce
Great fights- and a good little article- but man, we hear this FArrr.r...rrr to much : "If everything goes Yassine’s way he could be fighting for a major world title in 18 months."
I'm not sure really how much recent wins over Alex Spitko, Drew Campbell and Jamie Ambler justify talking about world title ambitions.
He does have a good win over Kevin conception, but he appears to have lost again fighters who are (at best) Regional/British level opperaters.
I've nthing against a bit of hype, but talking about "fighting for a wolrd title in 18 months" seems way over the top.

Fair comment that. The chap's enthusiasm is genuine though, rather than being any kind of PR hype.whicker wrote:Great fights- and a good little article- but man, we hear this FArrr.r...rrr to much : "If everything goes Yassine’s way he could be fighting for a major world title in 18 months."

Enthusiasm is great, and I'm sure, if he gets the fights, he will be involved in a lot of exciting contests- exactly what British boxing needs at the moment. There are, of course, the "Intercontinental" titles- always a useful title to attach to an already appeal fight to lend it a bit more credibility. Yes- we as fans know that its the match, not the belt- but still, a title does add something.
But major world titles? I can't see it.

Oh, FFS...it's not as if we make this stuff up. We were told and then rang one of the proposed combatants up.sugar sweet wrote:THIS FIGHT IS NEWS TO ME,IM NOT EVEN IN TRAINING.THIS IS 1ST IV HEARD,IV READ ITS 6-3s.WHICH WONT HAPPEN,SORRY YASSINE GET THE PROMOTER TO ASK ME 1ST.

Just kidding, of course, I'd struggle to find them.

That's a lot of loot. It's not until end of April, you'd have bags of time to get sorted again.
Re: Yassine El Maachi gets Bradley Pryce
Will Yassine actually be fighting on the Goodwin bill as he is also on the Anthony Small undercard at Dagenham on March 26th?

Yes, he's like Chuck Norris.
