Bit bored now of fighters claiming they can beat the best in the world, when in reality his next fight is for the Wbo Interwhatever title, against an unknown fighter on the international scene.

Maybe Kell is a batty boy and means something else when he says he would "do Pacquiao", because he sure as hell ain't beating him in the ring. Not now, not ever.

Fury IMO has more of a chance of beating Haye so that tells you how ludicrous this suggestion is. Does he think he'd tag Pacman with that telegraphed right hand of his? KO1 if ever I saw one

I actually rate Brook very highly and certainly think he can go on to achieve accolades at world level.

Anthony Small proclaimed in 2006 that he was "ready to fight and beat Oscar De La Hoya", and then in his very next contest fought and beat Kevin Phelan.

:TU:

Two VERY similar fighters, it must be said- Osc' De La Hoya and Kevin Phelan BOTH CONTAIN 11 letters.

OK, Oscar's full name contains two more, but the public probably wouldn't notice such a small technical difference, anyway, la la la... :OhYes: :OhYes:

if kell landed square on pacman's chin, the phillipino is going down, vice versa aswell. pacman would be a huge huge favourite,we havn't even seen brook at world class level yet, but i think kell is gonna go right to the top and be a top 5 weltwerweight soon. Pacman smashes him at the minute

Yeah cause our Kell hits much harder than Cotto doesn't he?
Nothing wrong with a bit of confidence but Kell is a long way from being mentioned in that sort of company

Exactly- he's worked his way through several opponents who are regional/British level at best.

For sure, he clealry has talent, but until he steps up, talking about knocking out World Class opponents sounds a bit daft.

I thought he did when the fight started but once he realised he was totally outgunned in there he got on his bike and looked to survive.

Brook has looked very good stopping his domestic opposition but as we see time and time again, the difference between that and top world class is huge. I'm hopeful that one day he'll be able to compete with the best of them but I certainly wouldn't put any money on it

He won't get the chance. Pacman will be retired, even if Kell does reach that kind of level.

Good to hear that type of confidence. And just in case Manny ever does agree to the fight, Kell can just insist on Olympic style drug testing proceedures, and then when Manny turns it down, Kell can claim he's running scared.

Maybe Kell should prove he's the best at 147 in Europe first...I heard Selcuk Aydin likes to fight ;-)
