Peden won the rematch 8th round stoppage although I hear the Aussie ref did Campbell no favours

There was a head clash in the early rounds that the ref didn't see so he asked the judges if they saw it and they said no so they said it was a punch.
Campbell was being beaten badley and the ref has nothing to do with the fight, Campbell was also holding a lot and complained if the ref broke them up.
The stoppage was a bit premature but Campbell was on his way to being stopped anyway so it saved him and gave him an excuse to say he was robbed.

Really surprised about this one, thought Campbell would get the job done this time round. Not been able to acquire a copy of the first fight but heard Campbell was in control and started showboating allowing Peden to catch him with a shot and knock him out...fair play to Peden for winning this rematch :TU:

Steve the first fight was not as one-sided as most people say I reckon.

It's true that however Campbell had been dominating the last 1 or 2 rounds in the first fight, but it was not like Peden was outclassed all night long

To be honest when i read about the rematch outcome i wondered about the first fight...whether Campbell was in such control after all, maybe the report i read was a little one sided.

In the first fight Peden was in front after 3 rounds then Campbell hurt him in the fourth and was doing well until he got KOd.
He hurt Peden in the second fight also but Peden was good enough to throw straight back.
