Who in your opinion are the top fighters that have yet to induct into the IBHOF.

I have heard that Norman Mailer was quite a tough guy.

Truman Capote too.

You're not trying to 'trash' a thread are you Granberry? That would be just down right hippocritical.

the following boxers are already in the WBHOF and should someday or already be inducted in the IBHOF:

Lupe Pintor

Raul "Raton" Macias, 41-2 25 KO's

Jose Becerra, 72-5-2 43 KO's.

I think you could make a good case for Pintor.

There are fighters more worthy than Macias and many more worthy than Beccerra.

Eddie Mustapha Muhammad should have been in years ago. He was a great light heavyweight whose record speaks for itself. Mathew Saad Muhammad got elected 12 years ago in only his second year of eligibility. Eddie's election is way over due.

Rodrigo Valdez also has to be one of the best who is eligible and hasn't been elected yet.

I just noticed that I made a mistake in what I typed about Becerra and Macias; I got their names mixed up.
I meant to say that there are fighters more worthy than Becerra and many more worthy than Macias.

Neither are the best fighters available. I do think you can make more of a case for Becerra.

i forgot about Gilberto Roman, Super Flyweight Champion, 54-6-1 35 KO's and 11 successful title defenses. beat among others:

antonio avelar - ex world champion
jiro watanabe - in japan
frank cedeno - ex world champion
santos laciar - ex world champion
sugar baby rojas
paul ferreri

rated no. 2 at boxrec all-time super flyweight. i think his induction is long overdue.

Watanabe was a real solid fighter, but I couldn't put him ahead of Gushiken or Yuh just to name two lighter weight fighters.

Agreed on Laciar.

Cedeno was mediocre on his best day.

Valdez is long underrated and long overdue for induction.

Mustapha Muhammad had HOF talent, but falls short on using it imo. He really didn't care.
