Agreed, very good article, although I disagree about discounting the win over Danny Green. Green was weight-drained, but fact is he was fighting at the weight he had fought half his career at, and Mundine took him to school. I agree that Green now wins at LHW or heavier, but I still give Mundine a lot of credit for the Green win - it was impressive.

Unfortunately, that was the last impressive thing Mundine has done. He needs to fight Felix Sturm, and win-lose or draw, get back to 168lb pronto. If he really wants to be a big name worldwide, he should look at getting a fight or two on American undercards against reasonable opposition, before targetting bigger names at 168lb. Either that, or agree to fight Danny Green at 175lb while having a couple of tune-up fights in between against gradually better opposition. Time is not on his side, so I think the latter is the best option for 'The Man'.

Mundine is a very talented boxer that has gone no- were, I think his days are numbered ,and the only possibility of him fighting in the U.S will be in the crowd...

It was a fairly good article, slightly ascant with sarcasm, and off the track at times, but the author does at times provide accuracy in observation, but raises further unanswered questions.

In his brief description of Mundine's career so far, I thought it very remiss that the author did not at least devote a few words or one sentence that read something like this: "Mundine showed mastery in boxing technique when he toyed and destroyed Danny Green" - Perhaps the author is a staunch Green fan.

I don't know, the highlight of Mundines Career, for me, was his losing interest in the Sven Ottke fight. He got so disinterested that he had a fifteen minute nap near the end.
That and his managing to turn the Kessler fight into a track and field event. Man traverses all sports impressively.
