It was a Naseem Hamed fight. I can't remember the opponent though.
His opponent said that they would leave the ring if Hamed's entrance took too long and when Hamed entered the ring his opponent was gone. Hamed's entrance included holograms of himself and his opponent's entrance had an outline of himself with bullet holes. Can anyone name the opponent?
Can anyone name this fight?
Re: Can anyone name this fight?
I think it was the Paul Ingle fight back in 1999.
When Ingle returned to the ring after Hamed's ridicoulous ringwalk, he put up a much better fight than most expected of him.
Paul Ingle had a good scrap against Junior Jones in Madison Square Garden a few fights later.
Great little action fighter.

Yes, it was Paul Ingle from Scarborough, i was at the fight that night in Sheffield. It was his managers idea really.
Paul did put up a great show and in my opinion was up on the fight until he was stopped. Great undercard too including the legendary Tommy Hearns.
I see paul now and again in Scarborough big, lad now.
I have this picture hung hung on the wall as you enter my house.

Yes the vuyuni Bungu KO was brutal.
Re: Can anyone name this fight?
Augie Sanchez may beg to differ, his KO was brutal.
Shame for Paul, seems to be on the mend; because of his brain injury he won't be able to exercise with any vigour. Hence, the weight gain.
