It's all rubbish. The fact that the writer says "nothing but good can come from this" shows that he doesn't know very much about boxing at all. This would be a disaster waiting to happen. Tyson is finished and it's funny that some people are still using the "he has a punchers chance" line. I used that in the past but at least it was around the time when he was knocking out Francis and Savarese, not losing to Kevin McBride!

The ironic thing is that if Iron Mike did make a comeback then he'd still manage to sell out a venue. The curiosity factor with him would just be too great. A third fight with Evander Holyfield would, sadly, be a massive event.

Tyson comeback rumours are the new Naz comeback rumours. Forget about it.

I just think there is too much talk building up about this to not be true. Add to this the fact Tyson showed up on the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing last month and looked like he had dropped 2 or 3 stone. Terrible if it does come off tho :( :(

It says its rumour and generally speculation based on some weight loss (we will see) - but then at the end says it is confirmed..... when was it confirmed?

I think even the most ardant Tyson fan has given up hope now. Too many personal appearances in which he seems contented with his lot and saying the animal has gone...... how can anyone take him seriously if he starts mentioning opponents etc.

I really don't think it will happen, maybe a series of exhibitions as he did with Corrie Sanders - that will be okay, but a comeback - no chance. Jean Marc Mormeck as a first opponent!!!!! get real, Tyson would lose.
I cant help but resemble your remarks. Based on the Tyson we saw against Mcbride which was the first time we had seen a total loss of speed and power and skill, and even a drop in the shocking lack of commitment to fight beyond 3 rounds which had been his hallmark for years, that tyson........wouldnt last 2 rounds against Mormeck! It would be like Joppy-Duran all over again.

I had all but given up hope. But I would love to see Mike make a comeback, drop down to 220 lbs and make some money. Hopefully regain some pride and skill and go out the way he should have. These days there are many fighters who if they stay clean retain their skills and hunger and competitiveness well into their 40's.Tyson is 44. He could have a good 2-3 years
