The end of an era
The end of an era
As we stated after week 20. we have accomplished everything we wanted to and everything from there on out was extra. it was too much for TJF to get up for these fights when he was sleeping in silk sheets everynight. Congratulations to Bob Foster and may he fight the best as TJF did.
Re: The end of an era
Your fighter was on software enhancing steroids. Plain and simple, Archie Moore is the proof that you have ridden a wave of artificiallity never before known in SimLandia. Your record is good from a perceptions point of view and has caused a media frenzy but the "old school" knows the fix was in....and so did everyone on the east coast. At least The Great Collapzo achieved his greatness the old fashioned way. He earned his unparalled and unmatched undefeated season.SAV wrote:As we stated after week 20. we have accomplished everything we wanted to and everything from there on out was extra. it was too much for TJF to get up for these fights when he was sleeping in silk sheets everynight. When the CEO and founder of Team Beard speaks, we should all listen.
Re: The end of an era
SimFoster has beaten SimTiger Jack Fox. How many people can say that!?!
Re: The end of an era
pfft. I'm talking about when its fo real.
Re: The end of an era
Meh, whatever. Foster will merely be a footnote this season.
Re: The end of an era
as the first man to beat Tiger Jack Fox when it mattered

Let's see you say it,SAV wrote:its sad that a veteran like yourself doesnt have an ounce of simclass
TJF is a perfect sim reflection of his actual talents, and his record is a direct result of my masterful management.
If you can post that statement whilst sober, then you sir are as good a promoter as I am. And I will then grant that you deserve the legendary status that you seem to be insinuating you deserve.
Re: The end of an era
I wouldn't worry about your legacy Sav, TJF will be remembered as an unstoppable beast in his prime (his first 21 fights)...SAV wrote:As we stated after week 20. we have accomplished everything we wanted to and everything from there on out was extra.
You could compare Fox's seemingly invincabilityt to that of Tyson in the last 1980s.
I remember reading that Nostradamus predicted "the fall of a great king"...
Perhaps he was referring to Fox.
These days nothing is a certainty...
However, I would not say that this is "the end of an era"...
I would say that it is the end of Fox's first title reign.
And I have a niggling feeling that we will see Fox at the top once again...

As the fighter that held the belts between two dominant Champions.Marlin wrote:as the first man to beat Tiger Jack Fox when it mattered
SimFoster = Carlos Baldomir
Re: The end of an era
Actually I would compare him more to Leon Spinks...kevo wrote:SimFoster = Carlos Baldomir
Beat a great champion, but is not a great champion himself.
