How come Kell Brook is fighting for this title if Christian Blaht won it and hasn't lost a fight since, or has he relinquished the title? If Gary Young beats Blaht will he get a shot at Kell for the British?

Is this because of he's inactivity between winning the title and defending it?

We live in a world where the WBA routinely have title fights, and 'interim' title fights at the same weight, on the same night for their main belt. Hardly seems worth worrying about the inter-continental belts.
