He needs a significant win now to get him in the top 10, as people like Peter, Golota, Valuev etc have all stolen a march. Rahman is back in due to activity and past record. Mind you Levin and Guinn have gone. Guinn looks like he won't recover to me too.

Nice list Bubi, mines only slighty different:

1/ Harrison
2/ Vitali (close, but I think Big Aud just pips him to the No1 spot)
3/ Williams
4/ Skelton
5/ Sprott
6/ Hide
7/ Long
8/ Pele Reid
9/ Bruno
10/ Errr........Henry Cooper.

I agree Might-Warrior.

But dont you think Cooper's inactivity hurts his status?

That's a fair point Dave, and I thought long and hard about including 'Enry in the worlds top ten. But I believe his past form and devastating left hook warrants a number ten spot.

Plus his cuts problems have cleared up too.

What!!? No Michael Murray? Surely he's a top 10 heavy. Just look at his record, all those decent fighters he's faced!!

1. Scott Gammer
2. Roy Jones (has the ability to beat Vitali in his next fight)
3. Micheal Sprott
4. James Toney
5. "Big Bad" John McDermott
6. Lamon Brewster
7. David Haye (can move up and win big honors)
8. John ruiz
9. David Tua
10. George Foreman (can come back and rule the division)

Vitali is a Wrestler and i don´t rank him though he is of course one of the champs. in two fights he will be history when Gammer wrestles him to death.

This is the only sentence I never heard from any Vitali-hater. You are the first one. Congratulation. :TU:

1.Vitaly Klitschko - he is going to be a favorite in any HW fight
2.Ruiz and Byrd - I would give them 50/50 versus each other, but favorite above averybody else but VK
3.Golota, Rahman, Barrett, McCline, Brewster - in this order they are pretty good contenders and with some luck could be a titleholder(Brewster case, but I would put him in the next lower level)
4.Valuev, Peter - they are very good fighters, who just didn't fought enough in the top tier.
5.Toney, Maskaev, W.Klitschko - They are good, but they all have flows so I wouldn't put my money on them if they fight someone from above.

Agree with all of that except Toney. His only flaw is size and injury. Skills wise he doesn't have any. He has a great chin, great defence, superior offensive skills and is an all around great fighter, but the guess is that he is just too small for the best in the division. Byrd would probably beat him too on speed. Good fight that though.

Err, you didn;t notice Vitali at #1 then? Christ!

Valuev and Peter haven't beaten anyone of note yet, Maskaev has obvious flaws. Wlad keeps getting knocked out.

he should have stayed in LH. in cruiser you don´t earn money and attention. it´s the weight class nobody needs.
