Any Audley News?
Whats happening with Audley I know he supposedly hurt his hand and had a panick attack pre-Bonin. His hand must be better by now though. His last fight was nearly a year ago now.
You'd expect some anouncement about how hes recovering and who he will fight next, but nothing unless anyone here has inside knowledge.
So has he given up on the game not fancing his chances? He could easily pick up the British title if Skeleton is dumping the belt.

I read in last Sunday's newspaper that he's just flown off to the USA to "build" his career - "had enough of Britain, etc etc". The general tone of the article was that he'd taken the BBC for an easy £1 million, fought a load of no-bodies, and had little or no motivation to really push himself. I doubt too many would argue with that summing up based on what's he's actually done so far
I think the guy has talent, but he'd be a lot better liked if he (a) stopped mouthing off, and (b) got himself a manager who understands the fight game. He has good skills, but while I feel that anyone who steps into the ring has guts, I can't help feeling that Skelton would "out heart" him if they ever did meet. But that's not the fight AH wants....
I guess he'll run up a few wins in the USA against has-beens, and in the event that Joe Mesi ever gets back into the ring that's the fight AH will be looking for....The worrying thing is that the division is so bad at the moment that you just can't rule out Audley surprising everyone and winning a version of the title.... Just my opinion!

I think he's better over in the States anyway, to get anywhere in Britain he would have to sign his soul over to the alleged devil who has the scene tied up over here. Plus in all honesty going through the likes of Skelton, Williams is not a fast track to a genuine world title. Sparring and gym work in the states aswell as regular fights over there with exposure is the way forward for him. Lets see if it happens.
