Skelton vs Williams predictions (if it happens)

Post by lirva33 »

What has Skelton got?

Can he Beat Williams?

Can he last the distance?

Can he beat Williams on points?

Can he KO Williams?

The answer to the above questions is NO.

Williams I feel, will be too good of a boxer for Skelton to deal with. Skelton has a slight chance, but only if Williams under performs. I think Williams has his number.

On the other hand, Skelton may revert to his Marciano and Liston style, in which case Williams has no chance.

Depends if its judged fairly. I think its going the distance as each are durable and neither are concusive. Skeletons got a good workrate, Williams has better combinations/speed/defense. On a person that knows how to score I'd say it goes 8 rounds to 4 for a Williams win, unless he gets lazy

Williams SHOULD KO Skelton, but who knows with Danny.

I can see Williams talking big, but either struggling to win. Maybe even losing.

Williams will not look good against Skelton win or lose. Ugly fight guaranteed. If its Williams' next fight without a confidence building win first I think Skelton might break his heart those demons might return with Skelton coming forward and pouring it on.

I think Skelton would probably do him.

Skelton has had great success at dragging his opponent's into his type of fight - Luckily for Skelton none of his opponents have had the skill to counter him as he comes marauding in.

I would hope Williams is good enough to deal with Skelton, but as we have seen quite a few times, Danny does switch off in fights.

A lot depends on what weight Williams comes in, something which may be determined by his tactics.

Come in heavy and try to fight Skelton at his own game or come in lighter and try to jab and move and outbox Skelton.

If Danny tries to go with Skelton I reckon he'll get KO'ed, otherwise I'll take him to clearly win on points.

I see i carbon copy of the Mivrovic fight.

Danny will look listless and be mauled around by Skelton then suddenly turn it on in about round 4 and blast him out with a couple of combinations

I think Skelton could take Williams, i think that loss to Vitali could have taken alot out of Williams (even though he would never admit it) and Skelton could capitalise on that and pick up the win. Lets hope it comes off.

Williams shoots out a fast jab and knocks out the Cookie Monster in 2 with a monstrous uppercut!
