You are dam right Brian Magee will win - he should snap that fight up with Smigga as an easy defence.

Should be a good fight, if that happens. I'll favour Smith.

Magee only lost to world class fighters . Typsko was a dodgy decision . Reid should have beaten ottke

Shame? Perhaps it is the valued opinion as a guy who has worked in the sport for decades and who has seen Smith up-close and believes that the fighter has a lot of talent at his disposal.

I'll take that over the thoughts of a guy who openly admits to putting forth opinions merely to create a fuss on a boxing forum and get people talking about the Spud, sorry, I meant to say the sport.
Off-topic, but were you at the Arena last night? I'm sure I saw The Law holding hands with someone of your ilk. :)

I'm afraid so :DDD You have to hold hands when you meet The Law, he's got that type of magnetism!
I was going to say hello, but you both appeared to be with a leery man of enormous size, so thought better of it. Oh, and nice hat Diddly :OhYes:

I think Smith has more to offer than he's shown against two messy brawlers recently. Just a hunch.

Magee is a very good counter puncher and would show up Smigga's defensive frailities big time - Magee was good enough to run Froch quite close for quite a lot of their fight - do you honestly rate Smigga in that bracket.

In addition look at the fighters records - Magee is well versed in operating in a far higher class than Smigga - and finally Smigga has been a professional boxer for sometime now and still we get the excuses - its a long time for "your hunch" to be lasting!!!

I think you have been on the wacky backy.

Magee would finish it before rd 9. and no i'm not jumping on the magee bandwagon after his dismantling of larsen.

Thing is Magee has a new trainer, and new team behind him. Larsen fight was the result they've been waiting for and have BIG plans for him over the next 2 years.

Magee will reach his full potential.

I'd go for Paul to beat Magee by stoppage!! My reason, RIGHT HAND against the southpaw and Paul don't mind fighting southpaws...

You could turn that on its head too - Southpaws can also be nightmares to defend against - especially against counter punchers who wait for their opponents mistakes and Smigga makes plenty of them.

I don't even smoke ordinary tobacco. Hey, I like Magee - time served pro, etc. I just think Paul Smith has a lot more to offer than he's shown.
