Mitchell at Upton Park

Post by MacTavish »

Is it just me or does anyone else think that it's a bit ambitious staging this fight at such a big arena? Think it holds over 30,000 - surely FW / KM don't think they'll sell the whole thing out - even with the whole West Ham connections? Didn't see more than a couple of hundred Mitchell fans at his last show at Wembley...

Saying that, this should be a cracker and I'm looking forward to it! :box:

Understand what your saying but less fans of a fighter would go to a routine warm up fight than a 'World' title fight and if good matches are made up on the undercard..........

I just hope they price the tickets correctly.

With such a large venue in Boxing terms, you could feasibly have tickets on sale for £20.
Obviously I don't think that wsill actualy happen though.

A lot depends on the undercard and I suspect all the Olympians, Cleverly etc etc will be out on show that night.

Yeah, I hope they make this into a big, quality card. Having the Olympians and Cleverly on the bill makes perfect sense. There's plenty of possibilities. I just hope that it gets picked up on a non-PPV basis.

Prices are already out. Check out the FW website.

I'm more worried about it raining.

When I do pick them up I will try to go for the cheapest unreserved and just get there nice and early... its not as if I'll be at the Cup Final....

this does of course assume there are any unreserved, or would they allocate you a seat for this?

I'm not trying to think about the Cup Final at the moment. If we can squeeze past Fulham that will soon change though.

On warrens website it states prices will be £30-£250.

I'm going to this one, it's a can't miss tear-up and the atmosphere will be electric, should be a night to remember.
Don't care about the "title", as Katsidis is as good if not better than many of other title pretenders out there, a take no prisoners balls out warrior. And Mitchell might just be even better.

And I'm trying to convince my dad to come along, last fight he went to being around 50 years ago.....what time do the FW show regulars on here reckon first bell for main event might be?

And what happens if you book tickets, then main event falls though, leaving a short notice Joe Palooka stepping in?

I'm on the Katsidis bandwagon, as are a few others. I reckon if there was a poll on the Aussie forum, there would be ZERO backers for Mitchell!
