Tyson in North Wales
Barring a disaster or him turning up at 3am I'll be speaking to Mike Tyson (yes, I know, I'm not pinning too much hope on it!) tomorrow at Venue Cymru in Llandudno ahead of his Q&A.
Any (reasonable) questions you guys have would be gratefully received.
I'm sure it'll be a bit of a circus, I'll let you know how it goes and the piece will be in the Daily Post.
Cheers.

Yeah thanks lads....!
Re: Tyson in North Wales
cant really think of anything to ask that Ive not seen on a doc or read in an article before.
I'd like to know more about the Lewis sparring days in the early 80's.
I'd like to know what he thinks of David Haye, well actually I wouldnt, but its a question.
Ask him why he thinks the heavyweight division has been lacking in the noughties.
Ask him if he's ever thought about training, or helping to train, fighters.
Is it true he's going to fight Evander.
Who wins, pacquiao or Mayweather.
If he could do things differently would he?

Ask him if he'd like to come to my house for tea, im only 5 miles away form llandudno and he can have the TV controller providing Im allowed to play football manager.
Didnt know it was today you were going, otherwise I wouldve hid in your man bag and got a photo with the man, saved meself 75 quid.

I can't see me getting him alone for a chat, it'll be madness - same everywhere else - I'll end up writing about the event and not getting time with him.......we'll see.
Re: Tyson in North Wales
Where is it you're meeting him, not staying round here is he, surely.

How much of a regret is that you blew your fortune and now have to do these public appearance tours around the world?
I think best to miss that one out!

Re: Tyson in North Wales
I'm still shaking, it was unbelievable....
It was me and him and one of his guys in a room at the top of the theatre. He was slow and softly spoken then started becoming really agitated, and my chin was within distance of a left hook. I'm still shaking.....I was awestruck.
I'll post the link to the interview tomorrow, I'll write it now.
Cheers lads.

Only negative is I've just found out it's going to be squashed on a page tomorrow but there will be room for a second part the following day....oh the joy of working for a newspaper these days, declining pagination, readership etc etc.
Oh well......![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)
